Position Overview
The State Farm Personal Account Representative is a sales role that involves meeting with new families and providing specialized services in home, auto, and business insurance policies. This position requires establishing and maintaining strong customer relationships, actively seeking out new clients, and expanding the client base through networking activities. Using a customer-focused and needs-based approach, the Personal Account Representative conducts thorough reviews with customers to educate them about insurance options and help them make informed decisions. The ability to multitask, handle confidential information with discretion, and work collaboratively with a team are essential in this sales role.
Located in downtown Granite Falls!
Responsibilities
  • Identify customer needs and educate customers about insurance options
  • Customize financial products or services to meet customer needs
  • Process and review policy change requests from customers, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information provided
  • Coordinate with underwriting to ensure seamless processing of applications
  • Coordinate and schedule appointments, meetings, and events for the office
  • Develop marketing strategies to attract and retain customers
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of State Farm's insurance products, coverage options, and endorsements available

Requirements

  • Pass the State of Minnesota Insurance Producer license exam (Property, Casualty, Life and Health)

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $38,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 40 per week
